Welcome to the Full Build of a Gladstone Bag
To some, this bag is better known as a Kit Bag.
However, in this modern age, many will not recognise that term and when they see one, simply label it as a Gladstone Bag.
You hear me refer to it both ways in the videos and offer a bit more detail on the terminology and difference of the Doctors, Gladstone and Kit Bags.
It is an ambitious project! But it is so very worth it, it looks simply stunning!
The word ambitious may be a little ambiguous, to give that a little bit of perspective…

Introduction
Given that this is quite a complex build, allow me a bit of time to talk through what is coming up.
It is an ambitious project and it is well worth soaking up everything in all the videos.

Template Part 1
Let us begin.
It is a fair assumption that you may not be using the same frame that I have.
I do have a bit of swing from liking this frame to not, but I do spend time clarifying this.
However, in this video, we go through measuring your frame to get the dimensions needed for the templates.

The journey continues.
With our measurements, we take these to our card and begin to create the templates.
In this section, you see me use the Trammel Bar, before you email me asking about this, let me say that I am hoping that this tool will be available very soon… in the next week or two.

This is ideal if you are looking to use your own frame or re-purpose an old one you have found.
